I love the fact that I can weigh everything out and get the same consistent color time and time again!! I've been trying for years to get a TRUE BLACK and now I have it without causing any wicking problems. I've used them in 100% soy, soy/paraffin blend and straight paraffin. | From "JJ ": "I love these dyes! They are so easy to use, and they don't have a strong dye smell, either. I noticed in my darker candles, I could detect the dye scent with the *** dyes I had been using. These are very high quality--and I am not getting as much frosting in my soy with them, either. ( I always got more frosting when I added dye) Oh, and I also am getting a true black candle! YEAH! Daphne is wonderful to work with, she even gives you recipes for colors and a spreadsheet for easy calculations of your candle orders. I would highly recommend the Pryme dyes" |
| From Julie - WA: "Hi, I just got in my dyes last week, and I have been using them for a large order I received recently. Let me say that they are extremely easy to use, wonderful colors, and very low odor. Daphne gives wonderful tech support, and she also sent me the spreadsheet. I love it! You can calculate exactly how much wax, oil, additives, and dye for your order with no left over. I would email her if you have any specific questions, she is great to work with. I made my first black candle yesterday, after reading all the raves, and it is possible, and absolutely no dye odor at all. Very Cool! Oh and LOVE the fade line. I have never been able to get such pretty pastel colors, as these. My others were too bright, and these are very soft and pastel. Gonna have to take new pictures for my site! I love these dyes and my candles look the best they have ever looked" |
| From Marica: "I got the dyes on Saturday, got to use one yesterday...I used the red in my blend, what a pretty color! Very pretty!!! It is going to take me a little while to become used to measuring, but it is sure worth it for pretty colors! I just played around with a quarter pound of wax and drops, and mixed some of your color formulations that way, and it made some GORGEOUS colors...I love the true rich colors these dyes give my blend...absolutely gorgeous! I am also an artist, and I can say these dyes give you true mixing capabilities, resulting in a full spectrum of gorgeous colors, rather than getting muddy, which I love!" |

If
anyone would have told me I could make a dark black candle and
not have to wick up and that I would not get any frosting I
would have asked what drugs they were using. But I’m here to
tell you that these colors are absolutely WONDERFUL! Next time
I order I will be sure to order a lot bigger size. I ordered more last night and I’m going to order more in another 2 weeks (another pay day ;)). I made my son some jet black tealights, melts, and container candles. He was thrilled! Up until now anytime I tried to make black the wicks would drown out and there was so much frosting. You’ve got a return customer in me... I made Apples and Berries over a month ago. I made it a real vivid red, absolutely no frost ! Thanks for these great products Daphne. I used to use the super powder for a lack of a better name, but these dyes are much better. You go girl! The Calculator: It works wonderful and it is so nice the way you tell us to get other colors. By using the calculator and the percentages it takes all the guess work out.
