Example on how to use Pryme:

First and foremost:
Erase everything you know about using liquid candle dyes!

Now, use Pryme
tm colors the same way you would use any other additive and consider
it a portion of your total formula.
Just like your fragrance, take your total amount of weight and multiply it by the
percentage you will use.
Below is a sample formula for making a 1lb batch.
All Pryme Dye Customers will receive our FREE Candle Batch Calculator. It does all the math for you!

NOTE: 1lb or 16oz equals 454 grams.  1 ounce equals 28.35 grams

Example: You want to make a 1lb batch,  using 6% fragrance & 1% color

FRAGRANCE: 16oz X 6% = 0.96oz or 27.24 grams
COLOR: 16oz X 1% = 0.16oz or 4.54 grams
WAX: 16oz X 93% = 14.89oz or 422.22 grams

Your Product Formula now looks like:

Fragrance @ 6%

27.24 grams We suggest using the weighing method of addition as opposed to drops as it is much more consistent batch to batch, in small as well as larger batch sizes. Unless you have a micro scale to measure EXACT, in the example above, you would round 0.96 ounce up to 1 ounce.

Color @1%

4.54 grams

Wax @ 93%

422.22 grams

Total:

454 Grams or 16 Oz.

Note: When the numbers fall in the 1/2 range, such as 4.54 grams, rather than round up, you can simply make a slightly larger batch. The addition of one more candle will oftentimes allow the numbers to fall in a range easier to work with when you don't have a sensitive scales.
